Reviewing Your Estate
Planning Documents

Goepper burkhardt98

As part of our Estate and Legacy Plan, we review the client’s estate planning documents which include, but are not limited to:

  • Wills
  • Trusts
  • Durable Powers of Attorney
  • Healthcare Powers of Attorney
  • Living Wills (in South Carolina often called “Natural Death Affidavits”)
  • Memorandums of Instruction

In the process of reviewing estate documents, we discuss the client’s wealth transfer goals, beneficiary designations and asset titles. If a client then wishes to have new estate documents prepared, we coordinate document preparation with an estate attorney.

The old adage is true: you can’t take your money with you. However, you can take with you the peace of mind that comes with knowing your estate and legacy wishes are going to be met.
