Bland Burkhardt is a Partner and Wealth Advisor at Goepper Burkhardt. Bland’s financial career began in 1990 and he specializes in creating wealth management solutions for those who are preparing for or who have reached their retirement years. He helps clients develop sound retirement plans and guides them towards success. Bland worked most recently as the Chief Financial Officer at Trust Company of the South where he managed the financial risk of the organization. He also developed and implemented the financial planning strategies for the Company’s clients. Prior to Trust Company of the South, Bland was Chief Financial Officer for The Delta Group, the country’s largest privately-held healthcare information services company. Prior to The Delta Group, he worked as a consultant at KPMG, a big four accounting firm. At KPMG, Bland helped his clients streamline their operations and develop more profitable business models.
Bland’s certifications include Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP™) and Retirement Management Advisors℠ (RMA℠). Bland is also licensed as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in South Carolina and is accredited as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). He attended Wake Forest University where he earned both a Bachelor of Science from The School of Business and Accountancy and a Master of Business Administration from the Babcock Graduate School of Management. He lives in Greenville, SC with his wife and two daughters.
