15 Year Anniversary Goepper Burkhardt

Goepper Burkhardt Celebrates 15-year Anniversary With New Website, Defined Specialty

Press Release

GREENVILLE, S.C. | March 27, 2018 – After 15 years in business, Goepper Burkhardt is proud to announce the launch of a new website to support the firm’s focus on retirement wealth management. Firm leaders say the decision to highlight the specialization of their business is a natural evolution to best serve the needs of their clients as they face the challenge of preparing for retirement in today’s increasingly complex financial system.

“Retirement is the single biggest financial decision that most people make in their lives,” says Goepper Burkhardt Partner and Wealth Advisor Bland Burkhardt. “We think it’s crucial to offer our clients the most specialized expertise available to organize all the complex pieces of the retirement puzzle.”

“Clients approaching and in retirement have very unique needs,” says Goepper Burkhardt Partner and Wealth Advisor Dant Goepper. “We have developed expertise in the four, integrated disciplines that are necessary to achieve retirement financial success: investment planning, tax planning, income and spending planning, and estate and legacy planning. It just makes sense to acknowledge this as the focus of our business.”

Goepper and Burkhardt hope the newly launched website at www.retireto.com will be a helpful resource for those looking to better understand retirement wealth management. Visitors can find important news updates and information, such as the challenges of retirement longevity risk, the 4% rule of thumb for retirement spending, and understanding the complex Medicare rules and regulations.

“The saying, ‘It’s not how much you earn, it’s how much you keep,’ is never more true than in retirement,” says Burkhardt. “Cost effectiveness and tax efficiency permeate every component of our planning process.”

Goepper and Burkhardt will share more on their insights for retirees in a spring course at the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Furman University. On Wednesdays from March 28th to May 16th, students will learn ideas to improve their financial well-being, tactics to build low-cost diversified portfolios that produce income and growth, and methods to reduce income taxes on distributions. Information on the course and how to register is available at www.furman.edu/olli. Goepper and Burkhardt will teach the course again during the fall 2018 term.
